HEAD COACH & COACHING DIRECTOR
After a hall of fame career at UW-Milwaukee, Coach Zabala played professionally in the NASL before becoming a Milwaukee soccer legend while playing for the Milwaukee Wave. Since hanging up his boots, Coach has produced some of the region’s brightest soccer talent, including MLS and international players. Coach Zabala is also a teacher when he is not on the pitch.
PLAYER DIRECTOR
Building on the legacy of his legendary father, Coach Jordan helps area youth fall in love with the ball. Whether he’s running programs for Lil’ Kickers or setting up the city’s best open play matches, Coach Jordan leads with passion and a huge soccer IQ. He also helps BCU members and area players improve with individual training sessions. Want to get better? Check in with Coach.

A former college and pro goal keeper coach, Coach Goldstein is perhaps one of the best keepers to come out of Milwaukee Public Schools. Today, he gives back to his alma mater by serving as a teacher, and coach of both the Riverside University High School’s Boys and Girls Team. Coach Goldstein helps our players get ready for the next level by helping them develop holistically.

First introduced to the beautiful game by Milwaukee’s Latino soccer community, Coach T was one of the best multi-sport athletes to come out of Brew City’s legendary Sherman Park. After breaking MPS goal scoring records, Coach T went on to play for the Minnesota Thunder and the Milwaukee Wave. Now, Coach T helps our pro players tell their stories on our podcast.
DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC CONSULTING
A former Marquette High School and UW-Milwaukee standout, Hohl grew up playing soccer for some of the area’s biggest clubs. Today, Hohl is a nationally recognized trainer & organizational development consultant helping social service agencies improve outcomes.
CHIEF STRATEGY OFFICER
Nate Tompkins is a long-time soccer professional who works behind the scenes to ensure that urban players across the country get a change to play the game. Having worked for the Milwaukee Wave and other of the nation’s most important soccer organizations, Tompkins brings his passion and wisdom to Brew City United’s mission of growing the beautiful game before the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
GENERAL MANAGER
Coach “Biko” is a former All-State and Division 1 soccer player who quit playing soccer in the 1990s to coach under the tutelage of Jimmy Banks. Today, as a soccer advocate and entrepreneur, Baker guides Brew City from the back office. Baker is excited to help the Milwaukee area become the nation’s top hotpot for urban soccer culture lifestyle.
